This website tells you about Cathy Events and lets you send us an enquiry. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Photos and content
The photos, video, text and designs on this site belong to Cathy Events or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without asking us first.
Quotes and bookings
Information on this site, including the services listed, is a general guide. Prices, availability and what is included are confirmed in your written quote. Every booking follows the payment terms and conditions below.
Payment terms and conditions
Booking advance
A 60% advance payment is required to confirm the booking and block the event date. The date will not be considered confirmed until the advance is received.
Balance payment
The remaining 40% balance must be paid immediately after completion of the decor work.
GST
GST will be charged additionally as applicable and will be clearly mentioned in the invoice or quotation.
Additional requirements
Any additional decor, materials, services, manpower, transportation or changes requested after confirmation will be charged separately.
Cancellation
The advance payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the client, as the date, materials, manpower and resources are reserved specifically for the event.
Postponement or date change
Any request to postpone or change the event date is subject to our availability. Additional costs arising from the date change, including material, manpower, transportation or vendor charges, will be borne by the client.
Last-minute changes
Changes requested on the event day or after setup has commenced may not be possible. If accommodated, additional charges will apply.
Transportation and additional charges
Transportation, parking, loading and unloading charges, venue-specific charges and other applicable expenses will be charged separately wherever mentioned in the quotation.
Overtime or extended hours
Any extension beyond the agreed event, setup or dismantling timings may attract additional manpower and overtime charges.
Damage or loss of materials
Any damage or loss of decor materials caused by guests, venue staff, vendors or other third parties will be chargeable to the client.
Venue restrictions
The client is responsible for informing us about venue rules, restrictions, permissions, timings and charges applicable to decor setup and dismantling.
Payment delay
In case of delayed payment, Cathy Events reserves the right to hold or discontinue the services until the outstanding amount is cleared.
Quotation acceptance
Confirmation of the booking and/or payment of the advance amount shall be considered as acceptance of the quotation and the above terms and conditions.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites, such as Google reviews, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp. We aren't responsible for their content.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
